Meet Our Team
HealthMagHub is powered by a dedicated group of editors, researchers, writers, fact-checkers, and wellness-focused
professionals who share one goal: helping you make sense of health and supplement information you can actually trust.
Every article that carries our name passes through real people, a documented process, and a standard we hold ourselves to
on every single page.
Our Mission
We started HealthMagHub because the health and supplement space online is loud, crowded, and often more interested in a
sale than in your actual well-being. Our mission is simple: cut through the marketing noise and give readers clear,
evidence-informed content they can use to make their own decisions.
That mission rests on five commitments we hold every writer, editor, and reviewer on this team to:
- Trustworthy information first. We would rather publish a shorter, honest answer than a longer, hyped-up one.
- Evidence-based publishing. Claims are checked against published research and recognized health authorities, not just competitor articles.
- Editorial integrity. Affiliate relationships never dictate our conclusions. If a product or ingredient doesn’t hold up, we say so.
- Transparency. We disclose how we make money, how we review products, and when our own information has limits.
- A reader-first approach. Every workflow on this page exists to answer one question: is this actually useful to the person reading it?
Editorial Standards
Every piece of content on HealthMagHub moves through the same seven-stage process before — and after — it goes live.
No article skips a step, regardless of how time-sensitive the topic is.
1. Research
A writer or researcher scopes the topic, identifies the real questions readers are asking, and gathers primary sources — clinical research, government health data, and recognized medical organizations — before a single sentence is drafted.
2. Evidence Review
Our research reviewers weigh the quality of the evidence itself — sample size, study design, conflicts of interest — and flag claims that are preliminary, mixed, or not yet well supported so the writer can frame them honestly.
3. Fact Verification
Every statistic, dosage, and factual claim is checked line by line against its original source before the draft moves forward. Anything that can’t be verified is rewritten or removed.
4. Editorial Review
A senior editor reviews structure, tone, balance, and completeness — making sure the piece is fair, readable, and free of the exaggerated claims common in the supplement space.
5. SEO Optimization
Our content strategy team makes sure the article actually answers what readers are searching for, with clear headings and structure — never at the expense of accuracy.
6. Publication
Once approved, the article is published with full author attribution, sourcing where relevant, and our standard affiliate and medical disclaimers.
7. Regular Content Updates
Health guidance changes. We schedule older articles for review so pricing, research, and product information don’t go stale.
Executive Editorial Team
The executive editorial team sets HealthMagHub’s editorial direction, approves publishing standards, and is accountable for every piece of content that carries our name.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and enforcing editorial standards across every department
- Final sign-off on sensitive or high-impact health topics
- Overseeing corrections, updates, and reader complaints
- Managing relationships with contributors and outside reviewers

Marcus writes and maintains HealthMagHub’s editorial and affiliate disclosure policies, and works across every department to make sure our standards are applied consistently, not just on paper.
Medical & Research Review Team
Our research review team checks the science behind every health claim before it reaches a reader. This team does not write articles — its job is to test the evidence behind them.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the scientific studies writers cite
- Evaluating the credibility of medical and health sources
- Reviewing relevant clinical guidelines and public health data
- Verifying that evidence supports the strength of a claim
- Flagging outdated, retracted, or low-quality research
How this team works: Every article touching a health claim, ingredient, or condition is routed through this team before editorial review. Reviewers work from the original source, not the writer’s summary of it.
Renata Kowalski
Research Review Lead
Focus: Evidence grading, clinical study design, research quality control · Experience: 11+ years in health research review
Renata leads our evidence-review process, focusing on study quality, sample size, and conflicts of interest before any research is cited in an article.
Thomas Reyes

Thomas specializes in reviewing clinical trial data for supplement and treatment claims, checking that dosages and outcomes described in articles match what the underlying research actually found.
Simone Achterberg
Public Health Data Reviewer
Focus: Public health statistics, government health data sources · Experience: 7+ years in public health research
Simone verifies statistics and prevalence data against primary sources like government and international health agencies, rather than allowing secondhand figures to be recycled from other websites.
Health Writers
Our health writers each specialize in one or two categories on HealthMagHub, rather than writing generically across every topic. That specialization is intentional — it means the person writing about joint health has spent real time immersed in that specific research, not just this week’s.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and drafting category-specific articles
- Working directly with the research review team on claims
- Keeping up with new research and product developments in their category
- Responding to editorial feedback and revision requests

Product Review Team
Our product review team is responsible for how HealthMagHub evaluates and writes about specific supplements and wellness products, including anything covered under our Reviews section.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing publicly available ingredient and formulation data
- Comparing products against competitors on dose, sourcing, and price
- Cross-checking marketing claims against research and label accuracy
- Reviewing publicly available customer feedback patterns
- Ensuring every review includes a clear affiliate disclosure
How this team works: Reviews are built from publicly available ingredient lists, label data, pricing, and research on the ingredients involved — not from manufacturer talking points. Where evidence is thin or mixed, our reviews say so directly instead of defaulting to a positive spin. Any article that includes affiliate links carries a visible disclosure, and that relationship never determines the review’s conclusions.

Research Team
Separate from product-specific review, our research team monitors the broader scientific and public health landscape that HealthMagHub’s content is built on.
Responsibilities:
- Finding and cataloging relevant peer-reviewed studies
- Reviewing clinical trial registries for emerging research
- Analyzing public health data and trends
- Monitoring medical journals for developments in our core categories
- Briefing writers and editors on notable new findings
Ethan Park
Senior Research Analyst

Fatima Siddiqui
Public Health Research Analyst
Focus: Epidemiology-adjacent trends, population health data · Experience: 6+ years in public health analysis
Fatima tracks broader public health trends relevant to our categories, helping the team understand how conditions like joint pain or neuropathy are actually experienced at a population level.
Fact-Checking Team
Fact-checking is a distinct, final layer of review that happens after editorial approval and before an article goes live — a second set of eyes with no involvement in writing the piece.
How this team works: Fact-checkers review the final draft against its cited sources line by line, verify dosages, statistics, and product details for current accuracy, and confirm every external link resolves to a credible, relevant source. Articles are not published until fact-checking is complete, and previously published articles are periodically re-checked as part of our content update cycle.
Hannah Voss
Fact-Checking Lead
Focus: Source verification, claim-by-claim accuracy review · Experience: 8+ years in editorial fact-checking
Hannah leads final fact-checking on every article, verifying that each claim traces back to a credible, current source before anything is published.
Julian Ortega
Citation & Sourcing Specialist
Focus: Source credibility, citation formatting, link verification · Experience: 5+ years in editorial sourcing
Julian checks that every external source we cite is credible, current, and appropriately attributed, and audits older articles for links or data that need updating.

Editorial Principles
Every department on this page answers to the same set of principles. This is what we ask of ourselves on every article:
Accuracy
Claims are only as strong as the evidence behind them, and we say so when that evidence is limited.
Transparency
Our affiliate relationships, review process, and limitations are disclosed, not buried.
Evidence-Based Information
Research and recognized health authorities guide our conclusions, not what performs best in search.
Editorial Independence
Advertisers and affiliate partners never see or influence an article before it’s published.
Privacy
We respect reader privacy in how we handle feedback, newsletter data, and on-site interactions.
Content Updates
Articles are revisited on a schedule, not left to go stale once they’ve served their initial purpose.
Responsible Affiliate Disclosures
When we earn a commission, it’s disclosed clearly, and it never determines our conclusions.
Trustworthiness
Every process on this page exists to earn, and keep, your trust — not just to look thorough.
Quality Assurance Process
From the moment a topic is proposed to the moment an article is retired or rewritten, here’s what actually happens behind the scenes:
- Topic proposal: A writer or the content strategy team identifies a topic based on reader questions and search demand.
- Research and drafting: The assigned writer researches primary sources and drafts the article, working within their specialized category.
- Evidence review: The research review team checks the underlying science and evidence strength before the draft advances.
- Fact-checking: A fact-checker with no involvement in writing verifies every claim, statistic, and source, line by line.
- Editorial review: A senior editor reviews tone, structure, and balance, and approves the piece for publication.
- SEO and structure pass: The content strategy team confirms the article is clearly organized and answers real reader questions.
- Publication: The article goes live with author attribution and appropriate disclaimers.
- Scheduled re-review: Articles are periodically revisited for outdated research, pricing, or product information.
- Reader-flagged corrections: Any reader-submitted correction is routed through reader support directly to an editor for review.
